Walter Ebaugh, Ph D, Geology

Dr. Ebaugh founded the company Nittany Geoscience, Inc. providing hydrogeologic consulting and design services. He developed the company into a leading hydrogeologic consulting and design services company. In 1999 he sold his company to U.S. Filter. Walt has served as Chairman of the Executive Board of Clearwater Conservancy.


Peter Everett, Ph D, Psychology and Planning, Transportation Consultant

Dr. Everett spent the last 30+ years as a professor at Penn State University specializing in service marketing and consumer behavior. In addition, he consulted with many firms and organizations, including a multi-year project for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. 

He is now retired from the university, but remains active as a consultant and facilitator. He now leads the effort of Diagnostics Plus/West, an effort by Diagnostics Plus to reach and service clients in the western frontier of the country. 

Dr. Everett has published two books and has written dozens of articles on services marketing, transportation research and other topics.


Don Hamer, Chairman of the Board, State of the Art, Inc.

Don founded State of the Art, Inc., a company in State College, PA providing the electronic industry with high reliability resistors. He has developed the company into a leading supplier for electronic resistive components requiring very low failure rates. State of the Art evolved into a major manufacturing operation with sales of over $14 million and over 125 employees.


Ralph Oliva:  Executive Director, Institute for the Study of Business Markets

Ralph is the Executive Director of the Institute for the Study of Business Markets, and Professor of Marketing in the Smeal College of Business Administration at Penn State University. He is driving the growth of the ISBM as the leading academic center devoted to advancing knowledge and practice in Business-to-Business marketing worldwide. The ISBM is supported by 60 major firms, and a network of over 100 researchers, all focused on the study of how business markets work; and how to better understand, create, deliver--and profitably harvest--value. 

Before joining Penn State, Ralph spent 23 years in B-to-B and consumer marketing, and established a “Virtual University” for marketing at Texas Instruments. He has served as Vice President of Market Communications and Design for TI worldwide, as well as leader of the TI Web Team. His responsibilities included global management of the TI brand, market communications, design strategy, and corporate identity.

He developed the “DLP” brand program (TI's first ingredient branding strategy) innovated a satellite approach to market development, and worked on several landmark products (including TI’s “Speak and Spell”, and the TI-30 calculator). He has lectured on many aspects of B-to-B Marketing, Brand Strategy, Organization Design, Integrated Marketing Communications, Integrated Identity, and Strategies for eBusiness and Marketing on the World Wide Web.

Ralph has authored 15 books, served as TV spokesperson for the application of technology to education, and has served on advisory boards to several business schools. He also managed the launch of the TI Founders IMAX Theater at Fair Park in Dallas.


Darlene Weener

Darlene has served in executive positions at social service agencies, a utility company (Dayton Power and Light), and was more recently Director of Human Resources for New Pig, Inc. and the Centre Daily Times as well as the Executive Director of Clearwater Conservancy.
